Christine Hyde is a visual, contemporary artist with a  bush studio and gallery in Springwood in the lower Blue Mountains.  She takes inspirations from her immediate bushland environs and nature in all its glory.  Her paintings are colourful and sensual.  A number of her sold and commissioned paintings hang in private homes around Australia, in the United Kingdom and France.  She has most recently exhibited at The Edge Gallery, Gallery One88 Fine Arts Gallery and Nolan-On-Lovell Fine Arts Gallery. She has received regional awards for her paintings. Upcoming exhibitions are in April 2018 at the Everglades Gardens Gallery in Leura, and in May/June her solo exhibition at the Lindsay Cafe in the grounds of Norman Lindsay Gallery and Musuem, Fauconbridge. Christine’s Studio/Gallery is generally open to visitors on the first weekend of each month, otherwise by private appointment.
