My work centres around the representation of climate emotions in the face of the climate emergency. Much of the work is auto-ethnographic, focussing on my personal response to the recent bushfires and floods, but aiming to also capture the new affects that are becoming part of our culture including eco-anxiety, eco-dread, solistalgia and of course then, anger, hope and activism. I am a Research Fellow of the Sydney Environment Institute at The University of Sydney and believe that art offers a way to communicate in ways that the research cannot, a form of activism, due to its’ capacity to move, and hopefully then change peoples respond-ability towards more-than-human others. My work utilises a variety of media, including watercolour, collage and  illustration.
