UNFRAMED works on paper studio sale 2023
The first weekend of November is Rhodo weekend – and our annual Unframed studio sale. We invite you to bring your works on paper – sketches, unframed paintings, prints, photographs, mixed media, charcoal or pastel – to be sold to the crowds we hope to attract on this popular weekend.
The works will be displayed in protective acid-free sleeves inside art portfolios, with an example work from each artist on the walls to entice buyers to leaf through the folios.
There is no fee for entry, but you need to purchase enough protective sleeves to fit your works (you can either bring your own or buy from BAS at receiving – indicate how many of which size you require on the form). The sleeves will be sold with the work, or returned to you with unsold works. For the first time this year, we will accept works up to A1!
There is a limit of 20 works per artist, but a set of prints or multiple copies count as a single work for the purposes of the limit. Art greetings cards are also very welcome, and a good tip is to sell in packs of two or three – that has proven to be very popular with buyers in the past.
Closing date for forms is 20 October. If you have any queries, contact Jo on 0418 633923.
