Janet Parker-Smith is a Sydney based artist who works with printmedia, sculpture, collage and textiles. She has been exhibiting nationally and internationally for over 30 years. Her work deals with identity, relationships and the environment aiming to provoke enquiry about how we receive, perceive and imagine physical otherness.

Janet Parker-Smith is a Sydney based artist who works with printmedia, sculpture, collage and textiles. She has been exhibiting nationally and internationally for over 30 years. Her work deals with identity, relationships and the environment aiming to provoke enquiry about how we receive, perceive and imagine physical otherness. Janet has had several solo exhibitions at May Space. She exhibits at Sydney Contemporary and has been chosen as a finalist in many art competitions. She has works held in the Art Gallery of NSW and National Gallery of Victoria. 

Her work is held in numerous public and private collections.

Janet is a Master Printer and has printed for many artists including Locust Jones, Dennis Golding, Keg De Souza and Debra Dawes. Janet works in Public Programs and is a sessional teacher in Printmaking at the National Art school and Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney.
