Everyone Can Draw: a free collaborative drawing workshop

  • Planetary Health Precinct 33-39 Acacia Street Katoomba, NSW (former Katoomba Golf Course) (map)

Led by Julie Paterson & the team at Blackheath Art Society

Who fancies joining in on a FREE collaborative experimental drawing workshop with local Blackheath artist (and enthusiastic committee member) Julie Paterson on 24 Feb? It’s part of Bluemountains Planetary Health open day in Katoomba and also is a bit of a fund raiser for Barts (That’s us - Blackheath Arts Soc ). All money raised from the donations will go towards the renos that are planned for the building later this year.

We don’t want just people who are good at drawing to participate in the workshop - we want EVERYONE who wants to, to participate. We will be making the drawing tools from sticks (not a pencil in sight) and making marks with ink and paint on one giant piece of paper together, collaboratively. At the end we will cut it into pieces so you get to take part of the drawing home with you.

It is fun, inclusive and accessible. Just like us!

And just so we know how many people to expect you will need to get a ticket in advance. We have allocated 30 spots.
